IL-10 (Interleukin-10), originally known as Cytokine Synthesis Inhibitory Factor (CSIF), is an 20.5 kDa protein containing 161-178 a mino acid residues. IL10 is produced primarily by monocytes and to a lesser extent by lymphocytes.
